Well this explains a lot

My great grandfather used to say the only thing printed in a newspaper that you could believe was the date.  But he advised that you should probably double check that as well.  He was a wise man.  Of course back then a lot of the news was censored, pretty much like our government is trying to do again now, but that’s not was this is about.
Every lunch time, I log onto the national news site, mainly to laugh at readers' comments and then today this article popped up.  It was tagged as ‘news’, I swear.  Now read in context with our current political situation, this is hysterical, but even without that knowledge, it’s still pretty funny.  Enjoy.
Disclaimer:  This entire article has been copied and pasted below from News24.com.  I didn’t write it or claim to have done so.  I didn’t edit it either, all the errors are those of the journalist (who didn’t get a byline) and his/her sub, assuming this was checked before it went up.

If the stores can do it...

Look at me, Ma, I'm blogging.  About what exactly, I don't know, but hey, that never stopped me before.
As we don't celebrate Halloween as a rule, three weeks ago the stores had decided it was time to decorate - for Christmas.  I find that depressing.  I don't catch the Christmas spirit until around noon on 24 December.  This year I've decided to change that and started working on a Christmas fic (because having four unfinished fic's is not stressful enough).  Anyway, I’ve been writing bits of it, so we’ll see how it goes.  What I can tell you is that it’s inspired by my favorite Christmas movie, not exactly a classic, but I thought it was cute.  More explanation will follow when I actually start updating on FF.  That version will be beta'd as well.
So if the stores can do it…  I can give you a little preview.  More after the jump.
